Mistral begonias require well drained soil and consistent watering. They do best in dappled sun locations but will also tolerate full shade. Feed just after transplanting and then once weekly for best results. No need to deadhead spent blooms. Begonias are highly susceptible to powdery mildew. To prevent it refrain from overhead watering to help reduce relative humidity. If you find powdery mildew be sure to remove the infected parts of the plants as soon as possible.
Mistral begonias are large, beautiful trailing plants with a bright, tropical flower. They will make a statement in any pot or garden bed.
