Dow Jones is a red and yellow bicolor Triumph tulip. Its sturdy stems make it an excellent choice for cut flower arrangements.

Care

Tulip bulbs are planted in the fall for spring blooms. Be sure to plant your tulips 6 inches deep with 4"-6" spacing in a mostly sunny location with good drainage. They will tolerate some shade but do best in full sun. Tulips do not like to be kept moist so do not overwater. When foliage first emerges in the spring fertilize with a general low nitrogen fertilizer.
