Supernova primroses have delicate clusters of brightly colored flowers that bloom early for color in your winter and spring garden. Their crinkled oval leaves remain dark green in color throughout the year, and their texture sets them apart from other ornamentals. The colors grown this year include: Blue, Fire, Pink, Purple Bicolor, White, Yellow, and Mix.
This plant does best in partial shade to shade. It requires an evenly moist well-drained soil for optimal growth, but will die in standing water. It is not particular as to soil type or pH. It is somewhat tolerant of urban pollution, and will benefit from being planted in a relatively sheltered location. Consider applying a thick mulch around the root zone in both summer and winter to conserve soil moisture and protect it in exposed locations or colder zones.
