The cucumber 'Burpless Supreme' is grown for its flavorful, nearly seedless fruit which lacks bitterness and contains less of a compound in cucumbers known to cause burping. The plants mature earlier than average and produce fruits only 55 days after sowing seeds.
Cucumbers are grown in full sun and fertile, evenly moist, perfectly drained garden loam. If transplanting container-grown plants take care to not damage their tender white roots unless they are root-bound. Be sure to harvest fruits regularly, so they will continue to flower and produce fruit.
