Bellis Speedstar Plus Mix

Description

Bellis or English Daisies have long been popular for spring bedding, particularly in mild winter regions. Plants are biennial, usually lasting through one season, but self-seeding to provide future generations. Bellissima Mix flowers well even in the first year, with cute little double button flowers of bright red, pink or white. Often used to underplant tulips in large public landscapes, these are excellent anywhere in the garden, especially in containers or tubs.

Care

Plant in a sun or part sun location with soil that is not rich in nutrients or organic matter. Do not allow soil around the bellis to dry out. Removing faded flowers regularly will keep plants blooming well into the summer. Plant will readily reseed itself and can also be propogated by dividing the root ball in the fall.
