Care

Thrives in loose, organically rich, moist, well-drained soil. Water deeply, regularly to establish root system; once established, reduce frequency. Remove spent flower spikes to encourage prolific continuous bloom. Where grown as a perennial, cut back to 3 in. above soil line and fertilize before growth emerges in early spring.
