The tuberous Starsister Red and White Dahlia features a unique blossom composed of a center row of white fringed petals with an outer row of wine red and a golden center. The compact flower blooms freely on the tips of their green foliage. The gorgeous Dahlia performs best in an area that receives full to partial sun in any combination planter or garden flower bed. Remove the spent flowers to encourage continued growth. Available in June.
Plant in well-drained soil. Water regularly. Keep soil surface moist but not soggy. Fertilize once or twice a week. Remove faded or dead flowers to prolong blooming.
