Corvette tulips are known for their lovely fragrance. The flower is a radiant red and blooms in the mid spring to early summer. It is an excellent cut flower. The bulbs will naturalize in your garden for spring color year after year.
Tulip bulbs are planted in the fall for spring blooms. Be sure to plant your tulips 6 inches deep with 4"-6" spacing in a mostly sunny location with good drainage. They will tolerate some shade but do best in full sun. Tulips do not like to be kept moist so do not overwater. When foliage first emerges in the spring fertilize with a general low nitrogen fertilizer.
