Mesa Red Gaillardia produce intense red daisy-like flowers with overlapping petals. The Gaillardia performs best in areas that receive full sun in any combination planter, bordering a garden flower bed or as a cut flower in a bouquet. Low maintenance. Heat tolerant.
Plant in well-drained soil. Water regularly. Keep soil surface moist but not soggy. Fertilize once or twice a week. Remove faded or dead flowers to prolong blooming all the way into Fall then returning the show in early Summer.
